Wildlife Rafting at Bardia National Park

This is another excellent way to see wildlife in the National Park.

There is no white water on the river in this area and this is not a trip for those of you seeking the excitement of white water rafting.

We take you up to Chisapani and then spend the day rafting gently down the Karnali river stopping at crossing points and water holes to look for wildlife.

The animals are often caught unawares by the silence of the raft and some excellent views can be had of larger mammals if we are lucky. The whole river is really beautiful and many species of bird can be seen as well.

B can also play the flute and seems to be able to charm the animals down to the shore.

Costs depend on numbers as we have to rent the raft and equipment and also the jeep to take us to and from the river.
